MSLCC is excited to unveil a new Weekend Premium program for CNA/CMA/MTA positions and now all Nurse’s positions as well. Starting December 7, 2014, all CNA/CMA/MTA hours worked, and August 2015 for all Nurse hours worked on the weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) will be paid at time-and-a-quarter (25% premium).
The administration and governing board recognize the importance and difficulty of a stable workforce both during the week and on weekends to meet the needs of our residents. The goals of the Weekend Premium program are to: recruit, retain and reward excellent staff, eliminate the need for call-back as our schedule becomes full, and provide enough staff to meet the needs of our residents.
