MSLCC and VVH associates bring a wide range of knowledge and experience to the business of senior living and long term care. Talent development and career growth opportunities are encouraged amongst our staff. Continuing education is offered in all disciplines through on-line learning, staff meetings, approved workshops and attendance of industry conventions. Scholarship opportunities for pursuing a LPN or RN degree are available annaully through the ND Long Term Care Association.

Q. What types of career paths are available within Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center and Valley View Heights?
A. A wide range of career opportunities exist including the career fields of: Business, Accounting, Nursing, Recreation, Nutrition, Social Service, Information Technology, Health Information/Records, Occupational Safety, Human Resources, Maintenance and Environmental Services.
Q. Does MSLCC and VVH accept entry level applicants?
A. Absolutely! Several departments including Social Services, Business, Nutritional Services, and Nursing can and will support new graduates as they enter the workplace. A passion to serve and learn will ensure success.
Q. Which careers require specific licensure and/or certification?
A. There are certification requirements for medication aides, nursing assistants, meal time assistants and dietary managers. Licensure is required for social workers, dietitians, nurses and administrators. The state boards can generally guide you through the process of required education and testing to embark on these career paths.
